3. As Wax Coating:
Heated to melting point and applied to the paper by means of a heated
roller. The paper is then passed through a series of heated nipper
rollers to ensure a good bond between coating and paper. The object is
to coat the paper. the object is to coat the paper at the recommended

because the fruit is preserved by vaporization of the diphenyl from the
coating during storage. The temperature of the diphenyl-wax mixture
should not be allowed to exceed 70'C (160'F) as a higher temperature

The liquid paraffin should be a non-toxic, odorless, and tasteless
medicinal (e.g. "Liquid Paraffin B.P.").
