At room temperature dissolve the Santophen 1 or Dowicide in the pine oil; then blend with the Neofat or oleic acid. While stirring, gradually add the desired caustic dissolved in 1/3 to 1/2 the water. Continue stirring for 30 min. For No. 1, add the remaining water and isopropyl alcohol towards the end of this time. For No.2, add the isopropyl alcohol and the sodium sulfite dissolved in the remaining water.
