Blend the wax and surfactants together. Heat the water until temperature is the same as the wax. Place a propeller stirrer into the beaker, and with moderate, but thorough agitation, add the water, slowly at first until the emulsifier inverts. Inversion occurs at the point where the emulsion reaches a maximum viscosity. The temperature should not be allowed to drop appreciably until the emulsion is made. Continue agitation until emulsifier is 40'C or lower.
