Small metal parts are usually soaked in the cleaning solution whereas, in the case of heavy machinery, the solution is sprayed on. the cleaning solution is left to penetrate for a while and, where necessary, the surface is brushed to facilitate the removal of dirt and grime that is caked on the metal.
