(A) heat 200 ml. of water to boiling, and dissolve in it one half of the parabens. Cool to about 70'C., then mix in the TWEEN 80. sprinkle in the silicate, stirring until a uniform smooth suspension results. (B) Heat an additional 200 ml. of water to boiling, and dissolve in it the remainder of the parabens. Disperse the CMC in this until a smooth gel results. Mix in the SORBO. Then dissolve the sodium citrate. (C) Add (B) to (A) slowly, with constant stirring. Cool the mixture to 25'C. Add the antibiotic, flavor and dye, mixing thoroughly. Add sufficient quantity of water to make the total volume 1000 ml.
