"Wash and Wear" Cotton Finish

配方组成:

Magnesium chloride, Hexahydrate/28 lb
Nonionic wetting agent/1 lb
"Acrite" 100/140 lb
Water to make a 100-gal mix

配制方法:

After padding, the fabric is dried, ideally to a moisture content of approximately 4 to 8%, and then cured. Optimum cure conditions are 1.5 to 3 minutes at temperatures from 315 to 335'F. Higher temperatures will tend to discolor the fabric, whereas shorter times will not produce the desired degree of reaction and wash-wear performance. In the event that minor discolorations are encountered, a typical sodium perborate after wash or a "topbluing" may be useful.
Following the cure step, an afterwash is recommended to eliminate any fabric odor due to trace quantities of unreacted product. It is suggested that the first wash box contain about 0.5 wt% aqueous sodium hydroxide solution to facilitate removal of any unreacted "Acrite".
Depending on the wash capacity, it may also be advisable to neutralize the fabric with a small amount of acetic acid later in the washing train.
