Phenolic Resins "Castorwax" added at a level of from 0.5 to 1.0% to phenolic resins, after manufacture but before grinding, acts initially as a grinding aid and subsequently as an antiblocking agent, internal lubricant and mold release during molding operations. Polyethylene "Castorwax" and "Castorwax" F-1 added at a level of from 2 to 3% to low-molecular-weight polyethylene improves the processing and subsequent greaseresistance of the sheeted polymer. "Castorwax" used at a level of 0.5% improves the molding properties of reworked and pelletized polyethylene and acts as a mutual solvent for rendering ethylcellulose compatible with polyethylene. Polypropylene "Paricin" 285 at a level of 0.1 parts per hundred of polypropylene reduces the friction and static build-up of this resin to permit easier processing and production of sheeted goods.
