Butterscotch Pie
配方组成:
butterscotch Paste/4 lb. 8 oz.
Water/4 lb. 8 oz.
Bring to a rolling boil
Cake Flour/13.5 oz.
"Parlac" Dry Whole Milk/1 lb. 8 oz.
Salt/0.5 oz.
Cold Water/4 lb. 8 oz.
Granulated Sugar/1 lb. 2 oz.
配制方法:
Sift the dry ingredients and mix with the water. Stir slowly into the boiling syrup. Cook until it thickens partly, then stir in: Whole Eggs 1 lb.
Cut off the heat.
Fill warm into unbaked shells and bake in a hot oven at 450'F. until the custard sets. It may be topped with whipped cream if desired.
This will make ten 9-in. pies.
