80 phr "Dexsil" 202 20 phr "Dexsil" 126 or 151 1 phr RO 3097 iron oxide 5 phr HBO2 1 phr benxoyl peroxide 25 phr xylene Dissolve the peroxide in warm xylene. Add hot "Dexsil" 202 (100-150'C) with continued heating and stirring. Add remaining ingredients in the following order: "DEXSIL" 126 or 151, iron oxide, and HBO2. This mixture is then stirred and slowly heated removing the xylene until becoming adhesive or tacky. It is then allowed to stand overnight, approximately 12 hr, and then further heated until becoming rubbery (appears set or cured.) The stock can then be banded on a rubber mill and worked so as to obtain a good dispersion. Milling to desired thickness is the last step. Curing, in a circulating air oven should be stepwise as follows: 10 min at 100'F, 15 min at 300', 30-60 min at 500'.
