Pre-disperse titanium dioxide in approximately its own weight of dioctyl phthalate plus epoxidized soya oil (a portion of amounts specified). use maximum amount for thin coatings; lower pigmentation for casting of thick layers. Higher amount of dioctyl phthalate is used when a fluid paste and a soft cured plastic is desired. Paste is converted to a tough plastic by heating to 340'F (minimum) for 3 to 5 minutes; higher heat is needed if in contact with a bulky cooling metal substrate.
