Linsed Fatty Acids, Distilled/158.0
Add the amine to warm water (140'F). Add the warm resin (150-160'F)
slowly to the amine solution with rapid stirring. Adjust final pH to
about 8.0 with additional amine if necessary
*For air dried coatings, it is better to use triethlamine as a
neutralizing agent.

配制方法:

This alkyd may be air dried by using water dispersible metallic driers. It is also well adapted to baking coatings, especially in pigmented metal primers. These primers bake to hard, tough, adherent films in 15 minutes at 325'F, or 30 minutes at 275'F. Watr soluble urea or melamine resins may be added to the extent of 10% to 20% of the total solids. this will improve resistance to water, dilute acid and alkalies, and provide harder, solvent resistant films.
