Bakers' Gum-Tragacanth Paste

配方组成:

Water/1 pt.
Gum Tragacanth/2 oz.
Certified Blue Color/To suit
Sugar and Cornstarch/As needed

配制方法:

Put the gum in the water and let stand 24 to 30 hours. Press through a fine sieve or cloth. Mix with a combination of 80% sugar and 20% cornstarch to a stiff paste. Add the blue to improve the color of the paste.
