In flame retarding these products, the alkyl diaryl phosphates in relatively low amounts have been found effective for some applications.
For example, incorporation of 10%-15% of "Santicizer" 141 or 148 has given self-extinguishing results in vertical burn tests of wax impregnated capacitors.
